Bond Films at the AFI Silver just outside Washington DC
I just noticed that the AFI Silver, which is in Silver Spring MD just outside of Washington DC is going to air a number of Bond films starting this month. The AFI Silver has announced its schedule through Sunday, September 8. Here are the Bonds films that they will be showing through that day. As more Bond films are (hopefully) announced, I will add to the list:
Doctor No : Friday, July 19 at 7:05pm and Tuesday, July 23 at 7:15pm;
From Russia with Love : Sunday, July 28 at 12:20 pm and Wednesday, July 31 at 9:45pm;
You Only Live Twice : Sunday, August 4 at 12:20pm and Tuesday, August 6 at 7:30pm;
Goldfinger : Friday, August 9 at 7:15pm and Wednesday, August 14 at 7:45pm;
Thunderball : Friday, August 16 at 7:30pm and Sunday, August 18 at 12:20pm;
Diamonds Are Forever : Sunday, August 25 at 12:15 pm and Wednesday, August 28 at 7:20;
Live and Let Die : Sunday, September 1 at 12:20;
The Spy Who Loved Me : Friday, September 6 at 4:45pm and Sunday, September 8 at 5:00pm;
Moonraker : Wednesday, September 11 at 7:45pm.
I would expect that they will be showing the films at their main theater which has a quite large screen. I very much enjoyed several Bond films there back in 2012 when they last some of the films.
