I heard he was cast, but he left after less than a week, as the script problems were still strong. He’s dyslexic, so he needs time to prepare for roles. My source is IMDB, so take it with a grain of salt. He was also considered for Alec Trevelyan when the character was Bond’s mentor instead of his friend.
