Episode #3 of a three part series on touring the Italian locations of the James Bond films and books.
Our last city is the Floating City of Venice, and we visit locations from the 007 classics of From Russia with Love, Moonraker and Casino Royale.
Also, we visit the island of Lido where Ian Fleming wrote a scene on the beach in his short story of Risico, and have dinner at one of John Gardner’s favorite restaurants in his novel Death Is Forever.
We visit the island of Murano and are given permission to go inside the actual Venini kiln area filmed for Moonraker, and enjoy a glass blowing demonstration. Of course what is a trip to Venice without a ride in a gondola.
Plus many other locations and trivia which many astute James Bond fans may not be aware.
