Severine over “Darko” Kerim Bey
Jill Masterson over Felix Leiter
Corinne Dufour over Quarrel
Della Churchill Leiter over Rene Mathis

All the girls were “innocents” who were not allies of the CIA or MI6 whereas all the men were active agents of said agencies so the girls get the votes as the bigger victims.

That’s an interesting way to look at it: Who’s the closest to the pure definition of “victim”?

I took another tack and considered who has the most memorable and impactful death. For me, that’s Kerim: when he’s killed something goes out of the film. He was full of life and humor and charm, sharing Bond’s attitude that a man should get the most out of every moment he has. When he dies, it’s a gut punch to Bond and the viewer.

Severine, in my opinion, is a cipher in comparison. She’s not around long enough to care about and she might as well have had “casualty” tattooed on her forehead when we meet her in the bar.
