Kara dumb-dumb? I don’t think so.
She was just a very sweet normal young woman, not a super hero, not a heroine, just a normal girl who reacts like most normal people would react to dangerous situations.
On the other hand I would date Mary Goodnight in a heartbeat if I got the chance (Wow!)!
Ha! Sweet reference to one of the worst TOS episodes ever!
I vote for Dou-Dou blinking. Bond and M kill each other, but Bond’s spirit takes up residence in the stuffed toy, attracted by its proximity to his loved ones and the comforting familiarity of a host body with silly ears. Future installments continue the adventures of Agent Dou-Dou-Seven, turning the tables on haters who’ve been saying “These films are dou-dou” for years and hopefully ending worries about the lead actor growing wrinkly or bald, given that he’s now made of yarn. Alas, plans go awry as Dou-Dou shows up for press interviews in a surly mood, at one point grumbling he’d rather pull his stuffing out at the wrist than make another film.
Elvis has not yet left the building, and Randy Clunge’s power to make twist go viral is still affecting the Bond double bills at the Gaiety Cave in Honeyclam.
Which would be the better twist?
The Widow Sciarra’s maiden name is Blofeld, Oberhauser remains Oberhauser. Accordingly, Bond slept with Blofeld.
It is Leiter, not Ash, who works for Safin. The Norway chase happens in the same way, but it is Leiter who Bond kills.
But Lucia deserved more screentime and importance, and the chance to make Blofeld really fresh and interesting was there and devestatingly not taken, so that must be the choice.
The way I see it (and the more I think about it, the more I am likely to believe it as what does happen):
Oberhauser remains Bond’s step brother etc but is never Blofeld. Bond puts Mme Sciarra into Leiter’s custody for her protection, but at the end of the film she has turned the tables and has him captive. She also amusingly murders an underling for addressing her by her maiden name. Bond still walks away with Swann, ignorant of all this. Sort of double cliffhanger. No Time to Die runs much as is although Leiter has escaped Blofeld after years of torture and is set out on revenge against her. Ash is a total innocent, dies and Leiter still uses the heroes and villains lines while escaping. It is during the Cuba sequence that Bond first hears the name Blofeld, so still visits Oberhauser in prison, who tells him who she is (which causes Madeleine to flounce out). Etc etc to the end although Bond drops the Land Rover on Leiter, and still uses the brother line to amplify his disgust at the change Leiter has undergone. Connecting the Oberhauser torment, a man can have too many “brothers”. Blofeld remains a shadowy figure, albeit at the end is seen walking across the remains of the island, and finds Dou-Dou intact. No similar trace of Bond. No time to die, indeed.
Just tweaks. As I say, I have now convinced myself this is what plays out. Thank you, Randy Clunge.
*And once the AI-Ambassador-Platinum-Book ** version of the Craig years is available, giving buyers full creative studio/producer/director control over the Craig films, this is what I’ll cut them into.

Both are incredible, however, I always wanted Blofeld to be Bellucci and I shall stick to that. I would have her reveal’ killing Oberhauser. You failed to kill your brother - steel thumbs - gone.
It is just not understandable that they cast Belucci, set her up in two such important and well-written scenes (the funeral and the almost assassination) - and then they blunder it after the seduction, turning her character into a “oh, James, be careful”-Bond-GIRL.
That would have worked only if that tender flower had been revealed as an act.
Instead, off she goes and is immediately forgotten.
The Felix not Ash is the bigger twist because it’s FELIX! I’d hate it, but it would be the bigger twist. Especially in comparison with the other thing as I’m just not a fan of the other thing full stop, and if SP hadn’t already, would have things sliding into the world of (70s TV reference incoming) SOAP with Billy Crystal and Benson the butler.
It’s nearly time to shake the replacement hip one more time in Honeyclam, before we move on to sister town Moistly Cleft, and Randy Clunge gets to work his magic one last time in changing twists in Bond double-bills.
His work here is nearly done, which is good as he is becoming more than a little annoying and I would like him to be maimed.
Which twist works for you?
The last remaining Vegas Blofeld peels off his face and - OMG! - it’s Irma Bunt!
Dr Kananga peels off his last remaining face and - OMG! - it’s Irma Bunt!
The disappearance of Irma Bunt will forever be one of the big riddles of the series. I always suspected she was the body Bloferhauser and White carried through the desert to eat her - but having her reappear in either film would be immensely preferable!
