There could be carnage ahead. Klebb having stood by herself earlier in the year for Villain, Grant drops into this category. This could shake things up a bit. Medrano and Elvis were on a coin flip and fate decides that we cannot bear yet another year of Elvis (25th place in all years previously fought) so instead we get an Obese Stupid Easily Manipulated Rapist Head of State promoted into power by sinister resource-stealing voteriggers. Yay.
I can already see Grant’s going to go far with me in this competition. He really is difficult to categorize: not really half of a “twosome” with Klebb as previously assigned in these things, because he’s working under her supervision making him kinda, sorta a “henchman.” But he’s also left to his own devices a lot of times and has to improvise strategies in the field, so he’s less the mindless “muscle” of say an Oddjob or Jaws and more like an actual field agent for the opposition, essentially an anti-Bond.
I can also tell the “old school” characters are always going to win with me because I have to struggle to remember the newer ones. “Patrice” was hard enough to place, but “Medrano” took a Google search.
