La-La Land Records, via Variety, has announced “Goldfinger” is coming to vinyl and another Bond is coming to CD this summer. Details in the attached article.
Wow! OHMSS on cd this summer and MR and TMWTGG on double vinyl.
That’s fantastic!
Fantastic news
Very excited to hear about OHMSS, that’s an instant buy. Also “the company intends to release a Bond soundtrack on vinyl every three months, with CD reissues peppered in between “so the fans have something to look forward to every six weeks or so,” according to a label representative.”
It also would mean that we won’t have to wait years for anniversary editions!
The biggest thanks must again go to La La Land. I’m wondering if the OHMSS edition is expanded or just remastered?
Don’t worry.
Neil I bet it’s been like a boyhood dream to have been able to have worked on 9 Expanded Bond scores to date ,but with yesterday’s press release in Variety, it looks like you should get to do the rest of the Expanded Bond scores, you must be buzzing with joy & excitement, what an honour & a privilege. We are so grateful to you & all the team for what you have done for us Bond Music fans , it’s 007 music heaven
A good chunk of them anyway, depending how long this schedule runs for. I’ve bought all of the Barry releases so far, as well as LTK. When LALD comes back in stock I’ll be making my move on that.
The Goldfinger vinyl release is available for pre-order now. This features a unique playlist which, for the first time, combines the UK and US playlists on one vinyl album. Package design is by Jim Titus.

My La-La Land order status has changed to “shipped”.
Which means that I’m still at least two weeks away from it (from previous experience).
What did you ordered from them, and earlier Bond score release on cd?
I ordered the Goldfinger vinyl, of course
From my experience (most of the other La-La-Land releases), they simply take that long. If yo do the tracking thing, the package moves in the L.A. area for a day or two, the goes towards New York where it may or may not has to wait in customs or whatever for a few days, and the same thing happens again after it arrived in Frankfurt (i once had a “waiting for customs clearance” for ten days – for a record!). And after that, it may take another few days until it’s finally dispatched. At the end, it adds up to two weeks, maybe two and a half. But I got used to it and I’ve learned to be patient
Oh I thought it was still a preorder, I still have to order it, I will do this fast then.
It takes here at my hometown in The Netherlands about five weeks to get my La-la Land stuff, so two weeks is for me very, very fast! I thougth about getting it this time at the 007 store, but there the vinyl version is already OOP.
I wish you a pleasant listening with your great purchase!
It’s a pre-order, which means that it’s basically an order, but it won’t ship immediately. It’s still “first come, first serve”. I’d hurry up, if I were you
Five weeks? That’s a bit much. Post.nl might be the problem here. My Goldfinger promo that came from Amsterdam recently arrived a week and a half after the date it was originally announced to. And it took only two days after it had left The Netherlands…
BTW, I opted not to buy that version from the 007 store. Yes, I am a completist, but getting a complete set of Goldfinger vinyls seems near impossible anyway, and it’s really just a different vinyl color, and at a significantly higher price which results in higher taxes and tariffs and fees (thanks David, thanks Boris, thanks Nigel). I know that the collector’s value will skyrocket, but I don’t collect as an investment.
Ordered also the new Goldfinger vinyl. I’m always a little afraid that vinyl is not coming in one piece to my adress. When Moonraker is released as double vinyl I will order at least two.
Looking good. After it spend five days to travel around in California (Burbank to L.A.), another day to New York, and then another five days to Frankfurt (I’m sure that includes the time it took to get through customs clearance even though it’s not indicated) and has know arrived in my region. Delivery scheduled for tomorrow. Even less than two weeks. Looking forward to the weekend
EON did not spend that much time filming DAF there.
That’s happen with me the whole time. The postoffice gets rich by all my returns.
The bad thing about it is that most of the time it happens at the last bit on the way to my house.
Lot of times they just put the parcel in front of my door outside on the street, especially parcels with Lp’s. And than I read in my hotmail: personally handed to the recipient.
