It’s probably not even possible for us ‘adults’ to really understand how hard AI is pushing the enshittification of the Internet. Algorithms have made many popular sites downright useless already - now AI swamps the hangouts of the kids and algorithms act as pressure cooker for this development. The only positive side of this would be if physical ventures became more important again subsequently.

Have to say: this trailer did not impress me at all.
Very forced humour, not particularly funny, gives me the vibe of big budget desasters, and Cruise doing too heavy lifting under the makeup.
I hope the film works. After this trailer my expectations have sunk tremendously.

Made for Apple+ but certainly looks like a big screen production. What used to be summer popcorn fodder for theatres in the past. Might be fun actually…

I know next to nothing about this film, but they’ve assembled a pretty solid cast for this, so it’s definitely one I’ll be paying attention to more going forward.

I had to chuckle a few times since this film seems to have a comedic look at the film industry.
Not certain whether the actor playing Stallone lays it on a bit too thick with the voice. Then again, he does sound like that.
Recreating the famous scenes from ROCKY does tickle my nostalgia - but wouldn‘t I prefer watching that movie again?

This is a clever concept, a biopic, a documentary and a remake all rolled into one. My only gripe is the Stallone accent, that’s about 3.5 times too thick on the whole thing.

Enjoy. That is the best way to see it.
I am going next Wednesday–just a regular screening for first acquaintance. With open captions since I have hearing loss, and Nolan sometimes gets funky with his soundtracks.
