He made some good comments in favour of Connery’s battles with the producers on the EON film of 2012. That while the producers were renegotiating their contract with UA, and keeping themselves happy, they weren’t renegotiating anything with Connery. He completely sympathised with Connery’s woes. Fair play sir RIP. ---

A tragic loss indeed! It was really painful since GoldenEye was the film that changed my life and made me a Bond fan. Here are some obits/memorial articles I wrote: > **[We Aim To Please](https://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/goldeneye-remembering-terry-rawlings?id=04486)** > > Remembering Terry Rawling’s editing for 'GoldenEye' > **[In Memoriam of GoldenEye editor Terry Rawlings (1933-2019)](https://jamesbond007.se/eng/memoriam/terry_rawlings_goldeneye_editor_1933_2019)** > > James Bond 007 memoriam. The world has lost a man of action. Or, at the very least, a man who made action feel like action. GoldenEye editor Terry Rawlings will be missed. May he rest in peace… 😭 ---
