I also love Columbo, hence the username. ‘Swanny’ Swanson (pictured in my avatar) was a character played by Columbo regular Fred Draper (1923-1999) in the atypical whodunnit mystery episode ‘Columbo: Last Salute to the Commodore’ [1976]. Ian Fleming also had a US West Coast literary agent called ‘Swanee’ Swanson, so there is a nice crossover there too.
