For ā€œSinterklaasā€, a typical Dutch family holiday, I got the JB Aston Martin DB5 book, the German Bond cars book ā€œMotorlegenden - James Bond 007: Ein Bond ist nicht genugā€, two French Jean-Paul Belmondo books, a coffee table book about Ennio Morricone and the new Astrix comic.

Seems like I’ll be getting the 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle from the 007 Store, along with Choice of Weapons and The Union Trilogy. I recently bought a new Seiko 200 metres diving watch too. While not an Omega or Rolex, it is very nice indeed.

For my birthday five years ago a female friend bought me a 007 fob watch and coin set.

I think the only 007 presents I will be getting this year is the calendar I bought myself and the pre ordered blu ray of NTTD

Oh, dear, I hope you aren’t disappointed. The papers said it crashed in the Yukon, but we’ve gone over the area with a fine tooth comb, and there’s no sign of it.

Maybe they can ship a replacement. To lose two seems like carelessness.

There might be a minor disappointment, as I’ve already heard that it’s not really top notch quality.
But I knew that before, and I’m prepared to invest a bit more time and work to make it really look good when it’s finished. Hope that I still have the necessary skills, the last scale model I built was a large Titanic, over 30 years ago. But from what I’ve seen, it’s not too difficult to build.

I bought one last year, just for the collection, but I never bothered to look inside, so as far as I know there’s nothing in it.

How does it work? Is James Bond always the killer?

Well, they decided to just remove the offending metal in my toe causing the bad infection and remove the rest of the metal in my foot during the next operation, when they put the metal In my toe back.

Maybe I should change my name for now, to THE POSTER PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS SILVERTOE?

Dankejewel!

It seems that they are using a new kind of antibiotic crystals that slowly melt away calming the infection down then it is filled with a cement type of stuff, that fills In the holes where the pins were, so it looks like I won’t be a genuine SILVERTOE after all :frowning:
