Hi friends at CBN. Forever-time lurker here (some of you all may know from some other sites) popping up to announce my latest fan edit since it’s very much on topic for this forum.
“The Hildebrand Rarities” is a special project sent to you straight from the multiverse, where James Bond’s famous title sequences are set to different music than what was officially selected – an exercise in what might have been and chance to experience how different music can change the mood of the exact same visuals while appreciating just how stunning those visuals still are. It features 4 hours of music from or inspired by the world of James Bond. Rejected, alternate, or obscure songs that were not featured in the title sequences are now given their moment.
What started out as me simply wanting to add the last three films’s opening credits sequence to the special feature from the 50th Anniversary Boxed Set Bonus Disc quickly took on an obsessive-compulsive life of its own. I decided to set the music I’d collected over the years (rejected, alternate, obscure, covered, or fan edit Bond themes) to the original videos.
