Bond Film Producers to Be Honoured by Academy

Website Deadline is reporting that James Bond film producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli will be presented with the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ upcoming Governors Awards ceremony on 17 November 2024.

The Thalberg Award, presented to a producer or group of producers to honour a lifetime of contributions to the motion picture industry, had been presented to Broccoli’s father (the late Albert R. “Cubby” Broccoli) in 1981.
