I feel you’re taking sides. The explanation / excuse that she may be hit by a bus tomorrow to justify yet another shoebinge has been raised by Mrs Jim in the past. The counter arguments run thus: a) bus services round here have been so slashed that you’re more likely to be hit by a White Rhino and b) in those heels, yes, you are more likely to topple in front of public transport, however rare. Wear plimsolls. (Really didn’t like the last bit).
