I know there’s thought abroad that Grunther is the henchbody for OHMSS, but a) Bunt is a seed and stays in unless she finishes very badly this year and b) IRMA BUNT MURDERS JAMES BOND’S WIFE (spoiler alert).

N.B. Marie at the start of Diamonds are Forever is actually Irma Bunt, having undergone the mud-body-surgery thing already, so Bond is totally justified in strangling her with glee. That makes the continuity hang together much better, and marginally more tasteful. I am persuaded to accept this idea.

Coin flippage puts Miss Taro in for Dent. Well, let’s see.

I used to be disturbed by Bond’s brazen misogyny in this scene, but if that’s Irma now I’m just impressed at the intestinal fortitude required to remove a bikini top from Irma freaking Bunt.

Also, she’d need more than the mudbath/surgery, she’d need a trip to Graves’ race-swapping spa.
