I’ve just booked my tickets for Skyfall in Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
I saw Casino Royale there, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and Jurassic Park.
But it’s Skyfall I am really looking forward to! Cracking score by Newman, shame he just copied and pasted for Spectre…

I’m off to see Skyfall in concert at the Royal Albert Hall tomorrow afternoon. It will be my fourth visit to this event, having seen Harry Potter (1st one), Casino Royale and Jurassic Park in concert.
Newman’s score is terrific, can’t wait to immerse myself fully in the orchestra’s playing of it. I’m sitting very close to them as always so I’m sure it’ll be good as always.
Two Williams’ scores. That’s a high bar if ever there was one.
I’ve just booked in for Superman next year at the Albert Hall. That should be pretty face-melting! 
BARRY LYNDON was presented this way at the restored Kings Theater in Brooklyn in 2017. I was tempted to go, but then decided not to–I would have missed the balance between image and sound created by Kubrick.
The New York Philharmonic has also done a few of these events: E.T.; THERE WILL BE BLOOD; AMADEUS among them.
