If someone was interested in THE JAMES BOND ARCHIVES but hesitated because of the price - here comes a smaller size version for only 15 Euros:

For € 15 this is a steal.

I have the first edition. It’s both fantastic and huge. The biggest Bond book I have in my collection. I’m thinking about getting their Star Wars Archive 1977-1983, which by all accounts is also top notch. Very much coffee table books than something you always have placed on a shelf.

I love the size of the original first edition, but it makes it a bit hard to read and handle, and shelf storage is a bit of a problem. An updated reading copy for 15 Euros? A no-brainer…

The new official 2026 JB calendar is out!

The most surprising thing about this one is the price…

10 quid? Are they going for cheap?

There must be a collector’s version in the 007-store coming with special socks worn by Craig, going for 500 pounds.

The 007 Store appears to have abandoned the Advent Calendar (although with only 12 boxes last year, it wasn’t an Advent Calender but a Christmas Calendar, not that their attention to detail other than your debit card number is high in the agenda).

This year’s treat for ā€œAuthenticā€ James Bond ā€œMerchā€ (dear oh dear) appears to be the James Bond Cocktail Lemon Chopping Set, for Ā£49 British quid.

A lemon chopping set.

It’s a knife and a board. It’s a ā€œmust haveā€. It’s [impolite].

One can get a small knife and a chopping board from (irony of ironies) Amazon for about a fiver.

When they say ā€œfeaturesā€ a dipped marble board and knife, what they mean is ā€œisā€.

Were it a Richard Chopping set, I might be more interested/gullible.

That knife looks like it’s bound to break after the third chewy lemon peel…

Always order at least two.

And then thereā€˜s this for only 115 Euros…

Yes, I saw that one too, but it looks very simple. I bought the SPECTRE one from the day of the death.

I looked it up–it’s fantastic.

I finally bought the Assouline book about the Bond vehicles and I will give it to myself on my birthday, like the recent two years with the other Assouline Bond books.

It will be delivered today, this Friday.

By the way, you now can buy the three books together with a slipcase, but if one thinks it will be cheaper to buy them together and get the slipcase as a extra for free…. you must be joking!!

120 euro for one book, but together with slipcase for… 595 euro!!

235 Euro extra! That is a lot of money for one slipcase!

I hope you properly appreciate yourself.

Good choices. The pinnacle of Bond comfort food.

Hum, it only has 192 pages, the big one has 648 pages, so this can’t be the same but than in a smaller format, this has to be a shortened version.

In Germany there is another book released about Bond movie locations:

ā€œDer inoffizielle James Bond Reisefurherā€ by Cornelia Lohs, is there anyone who read or bought this one and can tell about it?

Also next year Danny Morgenstern has another one out:

ā€œJames Bond Das ultimative Kompendiumā€ with 1000 pages!

I just received a copy of this book from 1999 from eBay yesterday. I missed out on my chance to buy it from (I think) Waterstones back in 2001 so I’m glad to finally get my hands on a copy. I’m looking forward to reading it. It seems to have quite a fun approach to the literary Bond, complete with some clipart style images that were all the rage back in the 1990s!
