I agree. Another Star Trek time travel would be just too much, an excuse to bring back characters just for nostalgia‘s sake.
I hope for a new adventure for the crew in deep space.
And without a villain who has unfinished business with the confederation.
The cast of Oppenheimer is absolutely stacked. Looking forward to Star Trek 4 as well. I hope Sophia Boutella returns as Jaylah who was one of the highlights of ‘Star Trek Beyond.’ With the loss of Anton Yelchin I’d rather they NOT recast Chekov but have Jaylah assume his position as Navigator on the Enterprise.

Saw The Batman last night. A slow burn detective film brimming with a dark, claustrophobic atmosphere unlike anything we’ve experienced in the franchise to date. Recommended.

Beyond’s ending does certainly leave her in a place for that to be a very natural transition.
More Branagh and Poirot? I‘m always in.
Really? Not that Brannagh is a bad actor or director but he isn’t Poirot, at least to me.
I guess it’s a silver lining now a different story or novel can be adapted since Orient and Nile have been overdone now.
I am a Branagh fan, so I am biased. But I also really love his Poirot.

Excited for a third Branagh Poirot film. I think I liked ‘Death on the Nile’ even more than ‘Murder on the Orient Express.’ With ‘Nile’ not doing as well as ‘Murder’ because of the pandemic and multiple delays I feared the series might end with two films. Glad it will continue.
