NO TIME TO DIE Spoilers (production pictures & videos)

But that would be insane… Which means it’s probably true

Yeah, it’s certainly a tree dive. Got a take on it though. Based on the approaching vehicles and their line of sight, Bond dashes across the road and goes for the tree making it (albeit injured) but then freezes. All the baddies see is him taking a dive over the side. Otherwise, they’d be lighting up that tree with gunfire. Just a notion.

And to contradict the rumors of Bond dying there I would think that such a scene would require the presence of other major characters. Without them it would be kind of a throw away: yeah, he jumped from a bridge, sorry…

Something he survived, with a depleted uranium gun shot wound, just two films prior.

I’m guessing the earlier video we saw was close ups of the plunge, perhaps? Since he runs this time?

The DB5 is being filmed taking a spin through central Matera this morning.

A couple of videos in this article:

Also, a webcam of the square here, but it’s currently not working due to too many other people watching:

New video added to the above article showing a blonde woman in the passenger seat - clearly a double for Léa Seydoux - so finally confirmation of the chase we’d been speculating about.

Seems the DB5 is in for an all over battering again - how many times can they rebuild this thing before it is no longer a product of the 60s?

More photos here:

Note the different number plate. Perhaps they’re using the revolving number plate as in GOLDFINGER.

That’s the stuff. Wow.

The white dress seems to indicate that Bond and Madeleine have been married or are on their way to the ceremony when the bad guys strike. OHMSS.

Fantastic action. Is Bond using a revolving number plate on the DB5?

I wonder if we’ll finally get to see all of the DB5’s gadgets used in action for the first time since Goldfinger. It’d be great to see the oil slick being deployed, sending a tailing car into a wall. Looks like the number plates are going to be used at the very least. It looks like they’ve had some cooperative weather as well. This should look incredible.

Great video! Like every great chase, one piece at a time from many angles.

These reproduced/upgraded DB5’s look lovely, but I do have one nitpick. All the details are there as on a true AM DB5, but from the aft pics, where’s the GB stamp/plaque and (really finicky here) where are the “superleggera” script on the bonnet lid? I know, maybe asking too much, but I’m just going by the originals that we’ve seen and that I’ve seen and driven.

EDIT: One still does show the SL on the bonnet. Just didn’t spot it on the video. My bad.

Love the camera set up there. That’s going to look so cool.

Looks great. Also, quite a bit of damage to the side of the DB5. That car really can’t get a break.

Maybe more solid information that Matera is early in the film? Perhaps Bond and Madeleine and enjoying their honeymoon and are attacked by SPECTRE or whomever and they make the decision that’s Madeleine would be safer away from Bond? Maybe she’s pregnant and the best way they can guarantee the child’s safety is to hide far from wherever Bond is.

I still think it’s the PTS. Should be a good start to the film. Just hoping the ending is equally exciting.

My thoughts too. I just hope it’s different than OHMSS’s ending.

Looking at some of the pictures from the Mail article, and please correct me if I’m wrong, it does appear that this sequence is being shot with IMAX cameras. What’s amazing is how intricate this scene is shaping up to be. I believe the reports indicate that they’ll be shooting in the region until October. We know from the bridge jump that at some point Bond loses the car, either because it gets destroyed or perhaps because he gives it up willingly to allow Madeleine a chance to escape. Whatever happens, this is shaping up to be a pretty amazing way to open the film.

Trying to piece it all together, it looks like we start with a suspense sequence on a frozen lake in Norway, head to a car chase in Italy, and then we’re off to the races with Jamaica, maybe Cuba, London, and what appears to be a forest set finale in Norway. Talk about an epic production.

EDIT
Another alternative, and the more I think about it the more likely it is, is that Bond leaps off the bridge, somehow doubles back to the DB5, and things take off from there. Is the Valhalla also in town?
