NO TIME TO DIE Spoilers (production pictures & videos)

I wouldn’t be shocked if that tunnel shot was something that we’ll only see in the trailer.

Not a bad guess. By evoking CR it would end things at the beginning, as it were.

I think this shot in the tunnel is something reminiscent to TLD and the spotlight.

My guess is we get the traditional gunbarrel, like Spectre, with the final iris this time actually opening on a scene. The first shot could be focused on the snow (aerian shot, similar to what we get in the trailer) so that the iris actually opens on a fully white picture.

Probably

I read on line at cinemablend.com that one writer is speculating that the gun barrel scene “may” be less explosive than in the past, to represent Bond’s retirement and new easy-going lifestyle. Not sure about that, but I guess it’s a thought.

Cinema Blend as a source for…anything?

If you don’t have access to this article, a summary containing a MAJOR spoiler is available here:

Unless the movie bombs, then we’ve never heard of him.

The movie could bomb completely independently of Cary Fukunaga. I’m sure there is no chance the film comes close to even Spectre’s total when all is said and done. Honestly, most theaters may not even survive until April 2021.

It was a joke.

I must admit I don’t know how.

Which has put a bit of a downer on this morning because otherwise I thought I was doing ok.

So if this is true - the gunbarrel following the Norway/Safin attacks young Madeleine and her mother scene - this actually makes a ton of sense. 1. Clearly separate the flashback opening and the present day (right after the events of Spectre, but before the post-main titles 5 Years Later jump) 2. circle back to Casino Royale similarly having a cold open before the gunbarrel and 3. Still having a more traditional pre titles with Bond, that doesn’t feel as long as it might (20 mins+) were it not broken up by the gunbarrel.

Also explains why the cue released by Zimmer has the buildup like Spectre but shorter by half. Would only work in a SP like scenario over the studio logos if there was only one studio logo (MGM). Thi at the end of the Norway sequence would be more akin to leading to a familiar title sequence cue on a TV show

I’m inclined to believe this and agree with your reasoning.

Something different with the sequence is almost guaranteed.

I still think we will ge a classic gunbarrel at the beginning, similar to Spectre.

I hope so

I guess it’s possible the WSJ were only shown one portion of the sequence and Cary withheld the rest.
