Not even going to dignify it with a click.
Ironically the only reason I clicked it was to see what they were describing as āillegalā - and the article didnāt answer that.
More footage of the sunset plane/ship scene in Jamaica. The footage is marked as 21st May, so clearly theyāve been spending quite a lot of time getting the stunt perfect.
Shades of For Your Eyes Only and Hector Gonzalez.
The latest from Baz
Fatuous and hysterical over-reaction to unattributed something published to fill space / bait clicks - Break out the Dweam Machines, chums, itās Die Another Day Another Day.
Marginally less fatuous comment - reassuring to see the Bonds havenāt lost their penchant for Science Fact! With luck, it will be just as nonsensical as the other times. Splendid. I do so want this to be true.
So, according to that source in Hollywood, Phoebe Waller-Bridge was drafted because she is the writer who can make the plot about genetic engineering accessible? Hey, I thought she was brought in because she was the one who could make the female characters feel more contemporary.
Oh, man, why do they kid themselves? Waller-Bridge is the flavor of the month and her play was produced by BB.
I really donāt care for āFleabagā and consider it a one-joke-premise stretched thin very fast. I hope she can add something worthwhile to BOND 25. But I wouldnāt bet on it.
I only hope that Malek will not turn out to be a genetically changed Christoph Waltz at the end.
Magnificent. Would take it to another level. Not a level up, perhaps.
Its me⦠the author authored by the author of all your pain to be the author of all your subsequent authored pain⦠Mr. Bond
It does sound reassuringly auth-ful. I will be very disappointed if this does not now happen. Very.
Author England james? No⦠Author Me drops
Maybe Malek has a boss, or buyer with a desperate need to change his appearance to go along with the new name, Shatterhand
Now, if DAD never existed then perhaps Iād root for this, but seeing what a pigs ear they made of thatā¦
Maybe they really delayed this to allow its secret prequel, Terminator: Dark Fate to come out first; its plot being to send a Terminator back in time to stop DAD ever being made. Then they can do it properly in Bond 25ā¦
Roll on 5 years to the next Terminator, trying to stop Bond 25 being made cos that sucked too.
Youāre using a Terminator as a solution for a bad sequelā¦okayā¦
Joking aside - genetic engineering is done already by changing crops for more durability in difficult regions. Of course, no one knows about the long term consequences for that. But Bond racing against time to prevent a scientist to bring more danger to feeding the world⦠probably not flashy enough.
Then there is of course the cloning of animals - which already is being done (ask Barbra Streisand, no really, she has cloned her dead dog in order to get a living duplicate). Taking this up a notch somehow just leads me back to Blofeld and his doubles in DAF.
Also, there is the tinkering with DNA. But āThe Island of Dr. Moreauā might not be what BOND 25 is leading up to, is it?
And, by the way - why does Baz want to spoil that element of the plot already? I thought he is in good graces with EON, getting tidbits to publish from them?
Unless one ramps up The! Garden! of! Death! into something even more 'orrible.
Hey-de-ho, might all be nothing. As for this Bamigboye, I do like āā¦an executive connected to one of the studios involved in the 007 film told me.ā All the ills of the State of Bond in that one laden statement, one fears.
āThere arenāt many people in the world bright enough to bring some humour to the topic of genetics and the Human Genome Project,ā my studio friend in Los Angeles said.
Thatās doubtless true.
The under-the-line comments though⦠The! Garden! of! Death!
Bond movies used to have their finger on the pulse but they have missed this one by several years. A.I is the big techno concern now and Bond up against a robotics megalomaniac armed with drones would have been far more entertaining. Thatās what Fleming would have written about. Time for some new writers not obsessed with PC concerns.
Yes, thatās what Ian Fleming would have written about. Obv. I like the āwould have beenā; done deal on this genetic malarkey, then.
This better be good. Skyfall was pretty good but spectre was wretched. I fear itāll be OTT in a showy offy taking itself too seriously away. IT CANāT BECAME AN IRRELEVANCE. But it will.then theyāll properly ruin it bowing to political correctness. Thanks
OTT show-off seriousness. It is a mixed-up Geoffrey and no mistake, this film. Which doesnāt yet exist.
ā¦with Fleabag star Phoebe Waller-Bridge brought in to make sure fans understand complicated plot. What a sexist commentā¦against men. The snowflake feminists better not ruin this last bastion of real men.
James Bond is a fictional character. Breaking news.
so there making out fans are stupid great start to promoting the film
So much mischief I could have with this one.
We just want to see a cool spy not bound by political crrectness shoot some bad guys, drive fast cars and chat some birds up in pretty locations. Donāt over complicate it
The minutes of the script conference for Tomorrow Never Dies have been leaked!
Already know how it will go. Will be full of anti white s j w rubbish. Strongest genes will be mixed or something along those lines.
Genes do get mixed. This is how babies happen.
Bring back Eva Green. She is beautiful. DC seems to have disappeared up his own you know what.
But⦠her character died. Unless thatās the twist. As well as Mr Craig disappearing up his own you know what. Itās a challenging cliffhanger, true, but one suspects it is no worse than Vladivostok.
Genetic warfare already directly on show, there.
I guess Mr Robot is a shoe in for a science driven plot.
I always wonder why these made up stories always use LAā¦does their version of Google not tell them that every mentioned individual, EONās production office and where Bond 25ās production base are ALL in London.
Does someone want to break it to Baz that the guy who served his coffee at Starbuckās probably doesnāt actually work in the film industry?
There is this thing called telephone. And the interweb. These studio guys have their people who can handle those devices and actually put them through to London.
But if theyāre a studio guy who knows so much about the thoughts, feelings and behaviour of people making a film in another country, why does he need to give tips to a tabloid journalist? If heās that connected, heād be earning more than an entertainment ājournalistā for the Daily Mail gets, and definitely more than Baz could offer for dirt.
Baz, in the other hand, is paid by people who will encourage employees to make up dirt to increase salesā¦
Good question - and I really thought Baz gets the good intel often from EON themselves.
Maybe that has changed. Maybe that āstudio guyā said more than he wanted to or was allowed to. Maybe he just loves talking to Baz. Maybe he is on his way out and wanted to give away something.
In any event āBOND 25 is about gene engineeringā might be a scoop for us fans, but the majority will shrug it off. What was the last one about? Was that the one with the megalomaniac threatening world peace? Oh, wait a minuteā¦
