NO TIME TO DIE Spoilers (production pictures & videos)

To be fair this looks pretty cool

And it was a cool bit when it turned up in Skyfall. Unless Craig got a haircut and brought his jacket back from Scotland and had to reuse his flare idea…

Exactly!

Illustrating British ā€œjournalismā€

A perilous world where they have the internet, yet no search engines, and where news only exists so you can have a group of complete strangers give their opinions on it in an extremist over-reaction.

A beautiful analogy

I read this tripe the other day and sat back from my desk and… Set down my coffee… The Blue Mountain roast.

Is there simply no fact checking anymore in the UK tabs? Was there ever? For all of the above cited, I just can’t get my head around this.

However, it all does offer some non-Intel Intel.

To quote M in YOLT - ā€œMind you, all of this is pure guess work.ā€

Production is being kept under heavy security as far as leaks go. I suspect that the NDA’s are even more stringent all the way up to Craig. Hence, no press or any of their sources are willing to divulge any tidbits. So, a lot of BS click-bait and a lot of it is flooding FB.

Also, our boy Baz has lost his edge because (spoiler alert) all his sources were through or connected to Sony/Columbia. Had this confirmed via… people.

Hell, the best and most accurate bits have been via Norway because they are thrilled to be having Bond lensed there.

My two pence lads, but I’m about to take a more ā€œhands onā€ approach to all of this.

These words ring as true as the sure-fire flight of my cash straight into Eon’s coffer.

The writing in, at least the online versions of the established press, has for some time been woeful. Not only from a factual reporting point of view, but also the grammar and spelling.

Why? Well, I am purely surmising when I say this, but I wonder if the whole business model of selling news is being further shattered by the internet. If advertising pays for the printed form, and that is being squeezed by the increasing other ways in which one can receive news, what could be left over to pay for the online side. I can only assume that they are paying the lowest of the lowest salaries to people who come equipped with neither the education nor the spirit.

I say this with absolutely no inside knowledge, nor a background in news dissemination. So please offer alternatives.

That said, on behalf of the UK’s tab press, I apologise!

That Mirror link is down…

I think it’s more to do with speed, that ad space is worth more with more clicks so speed to be the first will be of the essence - research, fact checking and a typo/grammar check will cost (literally) valuable time.

If it’s anything like tv then it’s a combo of dimwits hiring dimwits and the assumption that the audience/readership are dimwits.

Except in FYEO, they weren’t ever actually underwater, were they? Also, Moonraker had Bomd fighting an anaconda in water. Die Another Day also had an underwater scene, albeit briefly.

Cant be too harsh on journos when their multi millionaire bosses keep cutting their jobs and salaries to take more money for themselves, most of them (unless big ticket, already rich usually finance or political journalists, there to sell policy that benefits them/the boss) have no time or money to do proper journalism, factchecking or editing

Funny how links related to absolute rubbish strangely vanish within five hours or less.

I think the unconnected press are just peeved that, this time around, it’s a very ā€œin houseā€ production and nobody is talking. Since the announcement at Goldeneye and local press coverage in Jamaica there hasn’t been much outside of the bits from Norway and mentions of Craig’s injury.

I suspect the next big news will be the title (soon) and possibly some ā€œon the setā€ coverage by the entertainment shows with the location filming and especially showing Craig back in action and spry after his injury.

In the meantime, expect some more click-bait interwebby drivel compiled by dweebs that don’t know Paul McCartney was in another band before Wings.

Yeah i think Baz and the Mails shift in tone is very telling of a publication that no longer has exclusive insider knowledge so they fall back on the typical tabloid attack dog strategy of entitled actors making demands and feminism and social justice warriors ruining your man stories

Exactly. Things are happening but in the meantime the lack of official news is filled with clickbait assumptions and gossip.

As does TND and TWINE, but, yeah, I think only the second unit filmed underwater on FYEO

Chin up people. isn’t it this week that they film all over the Norwegian road?

Illegally, too. According to our illustrious press.

(Sorry, too soon?)
