It can be even more strange:
sometimes I order an item from Amazon UK, or Germany and I receive it from France.
That is weird! I sent my mate in Germany in Germany a dvd from Amazon UK . It was sent from England to Germany via Belgium!
A Welsh friend of mine who lives in Austria now orders his English language DVDs from the Republic of Ireland,as post Brexit, they are much cheaper than buying from the uk
Sounds like the direct way for me, if they go by lorry… ![]()
Really like the sleeve with the bike-cover. Still hate the one with the 7 though…
Well the funny thing was, looking at the times it cleared customs here then in Belgium, it took just under an hour, so I am assuming it Went by air to Belgium
Received my 4K copy yesterday here in the U.S. (yay!), and I caught a couple of lines that I had missed during my one and only theater viewing. 1) The fact that Safin’s parents served as the ‘poisons branch’ for SPECTRE. 2) The line Q said to Bond after Blofeld’s death, “Good thing you two weren’t truly related or you’d be dead too.” Was that a jab at folks who came out of ‘Spectre’ thinking Bond and Blofeld were actual brothers?
It could well be and cleared things up nicely, tying up another loose end
The concept of step brothers being as unknown as the meaning of “revoked”?
I think the term “step brothers” is too strong. “Foster brothers” seems too me to be more accurate.
The Dutch release is still 16-02-2022 so I guess they will not sell a lot to 007 fans who’ve already got their version from the UK or another country.
Or the writers who came up with that idea. And yet, by the end of the film …
Themselves?
Wasn’t that a John Logan idea?
No clue.
There’s a good chance it was a Sony idea tbh, they did seem to go crazy with the insistence on changes.
It’s funny. I watched Matrix Resurrections last night and there’s a line in it about Warner Brothers wanting a sequel. It’s very meta.
Also an improvement on how Matrix Revolutions ended things.
Picked my copy up today from Wal Mart. I must say, even though I already knew what it looked like, seeing the box art in person just leads to one thought, which is how could anyone in any marketing department anywhere look at that “artwork” and decide that it’s acceptable. It takes the already pathetic quality of the Craig era posters and box art to an incredibly new low.
It was only for the Blu-ray edition. I picked up the 4K edition.
None of them are particularly great, although the Target exclusive appears to be the best that I’ve seen so far.
The back of the Walmart box is similar to fan art a CBNer created.
But I do agree with you on the promo art in the Craig era. They focused more in the actor than a collage of action.
Promo art for film has lessened in quality across the entire industry in the last 15 or so years. I guess in the age of the internet it’s money better spent in other marketing.
