Spectre is a ghost and is the implication of the James Bond name anyway - works fine with either/both implications - the lyrics are pretty good imo so no point changing them - i think the point is that the production likely changed or it was only a demo at the point it was rejected and they finished the production after as they continued working on their album which shares a similar sound
For me, radiohead are past their prime. If they’re ever given another shot then plaese be more structural and melodic next time.
