Unlike the films marketing, the home video release touts its Bond relationship.
Reviews are all over the place. Basically, pick a viewpoint, from āso bad, Iām personally offendedā to āthe second comingā via āits okayā and youāll find a review that agrees, so all you can do is watch and judge for yourself.
So theyāre paying punters Ā£14.99 to watch itā¦

Arf arf
Sorry, itās a slow day on the furlough! In fairness I would perhaps consider sitting through it again for Ā£9.99!
There WILL be a review that says exactly that.
To be clear, thatās 9.99 into my bank account, not theirs
Againā¦thereās probably people complaining EXACTLY that. People are weird.
I never much cared for the āFrom the producers of James Bondā tagline. If youāre going to tout your Bond relationship, which they obviously should, pick a highly regarded film. Use āFrom the producers of Casino Royale and Skyfallā or something to that effect. For whatever reason, the way itās presented just feels a bit cheap.
So the film should be highly regarded BEFORE they market it?
No, Iām saying that they should have picked a highly regarded Bond film rather than just saying from the producers of āJames Bondā. I would have used the line āFrom the Producers of Casino Royale and Skyfallā, the two most highly acclaimed Bond films of the past couple of decades, rather than a pretty generic āFrom the producers of James Bondā.
I am joking - I feel I should emphasise
āFrom the producers of Moonrakerā¦ā
"From the producers of For Your Eyes Only
ā¦honestly, it exists!"
āFrom the producers of Die Another Day!ā
We could be here for some time
