If it’s like what he did before, Americans are in for a treat, the sheer love of their job shines through every note. Arnold’s guitar lead on The name’s Bond, James Bond has earned several standing ovations for good reason.
Not sure if Arnold himself will be there like he was for the one at Royal Albert Hall. However, according to their Facebook event page, there will be a few extras:
“Double your fun with 007 pre-show activities in collaboration with the NSO and the International Spy Museum! Come one hour early (7:30 p.m.) to Wolf Trap’s Old Farmhouse Lawn. You can test your secret agent skills with Code Cracker and Lock Picking challenges. And snap some selfies with a Daniel Craig wax figure from Madame Tussauds’ Bond exhibit and a souped-up Aston Martin from one of the Bond films! Plus, join International Spy Museum historian and curator, Dr. Vincent Houghton, former CIA Chief of Disguise, Jonna Mendez, and NSO at Wolf Trap conductor Emil de Cou for a special pre-performance discussion about the James Bond legacy and fascinating real-life stories from the secret world of spies. You only live twice… so don’t miss out!”
My sister got me tickets for my birthday so I am really looking forward to this event!
Is anyone else in the area planning to go?
