I think all this will do for NTTD’s release is to move up its streaming date. It will still launch exclusively in theaters (hopefully in October) and then likely come to Amazon Prime exclusively after a short-ish window. Unless there are pre-existing agreements in place for other streaming services to have first rights. Both Disney and Microsoft were forced to honor exclusivity deals for movies/games after acquistions (Disney with Spiderman movies and some Marvel movies) and Microsoft with 2 PS5 console exclusive Bethesda games.
It again appears there is a tentative push to encourage thoughts towards 30 September.
No new design, a minor date change to what has been printed many times afore.
Printed in quad and 1 sheet format, for those whose days are commensurately improved by such knowledge.

Thinking more about the slightest revision to the already old, if life were to continue per the previous 15 months, would it be beyond the realms of extrapolation to think that, while in 2054 the world’s police forces were fighting the ungodly with neutron guns, in the same year, and unless there is any thought to revising, even ever so slightly, the marketing for a film completed in 2020, is the new product for fresh eyes being presented in ways already dowdy?
I realise Empire ‘Design’ utilises the barest of minimums for marketing concepts and time booked to a brief, but I would submit even a flipping of elements from left to right might refresh the otherwise well worn.

Imagine if we knew back in November 2020 that Amazon would be buying MGM?
“Yes! Now we can finally watch Bond NTTD before Christmas!”
And then being told it’d still be theaters only October 2021 with no streaming date announced?!
Funny how Amazon’s purchase price is higher than any of Dr. Evil’s ransom demands from the Austin Powers movies. Bezos does look like a Blofeld stand in.

Just stirring the pot: if the Delta variant causes more havoc in Europe and severe lockdowns become necessary again, the release date obviously will have to be delayed again. It all depends now on how full vaccination proceeds.
Here in Germany only about half of the population has been vaccinated once, with 30 percent having received both shots necessary to avoid/shoulder an infection with the Delta variant. With severe delays in getting enough vaccine doses in at least the next two months, it will be impossible to reach a comfortable stage in the fall when life will happen mostly indoors again and infection rates naturally skyrocket.
And Great Britain is currently in the midst of a recurring nightmare, so… I doubt that the release date will stay firm.
But…but…but…every comedian insists it’s just them!

Didn’t you hear? EON never filmed NTTD. It´s all a hoax! That’s why they keep delaying the movie. Craig only agreed to do some shots for a trailer. They just needed it for the sale to Amazon.
Well, now they will be able to film the whole thing in secrecy, since Amazon has enough money.
But… Craig is not available, due to the two KNIVES OUT-sequels. So they will have to delay for at least two more years. Which means that EON will have to fabricate more variants to keep cinemas closed. But with Jeff Bezos´ money they surely have bought Bill Gates´ virus factory. So that plan will work.

It was more or less inevitable that there would be mutations that start giving trouble and may escape the vaccine in a given time. We’re mixing vaccinated, partially vaccinated and unprotected populations with locally huge numbers of cases, ideal conditions to breed these variants. It’s all a replay of last year’s Kent variant, this time coming back with added enhancements.
The problem is perhaps that we’re getting told we have to learn to live with COVID but nobody actually wants to. See hospitality, football, travel and and and - we’re all longing to get the carefree days of before back. That’s the whole aim of the vaccination effort, that people can lead their lives again the way they used to.
If Delta should grow into the massive problem this autumn I’m still not sure whether this will put another brake on NO TIME TO DIE‘s release. It’s now no longer the everything-or-nothing project of a troubled studio but almost certainly a release that will get many people to see it in theatres wherever they are open. I wager it will even attract audiences in releases after it’s been available on streaming.
A huge part of the potential market will take until 2023 or later even before working vaccines reach them. All that is already priced in with NO TIME TO DIE’s release. So unless the situation turns in a massive manner for the worse I suspect the autumn release will stick.

Clearly, you aren’t spending enough time watching alt-right YouTube conspiracies. Very clearly, the movie had to be completely reshot because of horrible incel test audiences you took grave offense to the film actually having women that can do things and not just stereotypical and horribly dated bleach-blonde bimbos you just shout James!
