Ryan is already on Amazon‘s payroll so no big surprise they are interested in other adaptations from Clancy. I suspect this may even be one of their more expensive acquisitions.

Interesting observation. Indeed, since Disney has a natural affinity to fantasy/sf it might be a sensible move for Amazon to cover their bases in the more ‘grownup’ genres…
