New suit unlocked for those who have the Hitman games - Midnight Ray, a blue tuxedo. Looks really good. Hoping the Amazon exclusive black tuxedo is made available at some point.
Yeah, itās cool spotting all the references. Gibson seems closest to being a more physical version of Roger.

What I realized is thatās the second direct reference to A View to a Kill in a Bond game. Willem Defoeās Nicolai Diavlo in Everything or Nothing was a student of Max Zorinās. Interesting how that film keeps getting a tip of the hat. And Iāll always be grateful for this corker of a dialogue exchange delivered with verve by Brosnan:
M: Diavloās tutor? Max Zorin.
Bond: Yes, we once played bridge togetherā¦he lost.
For those curious the first ten minutes or so of the game are on YouTube. I skipped around it a bit and really love what I saw. Crazy how weāve had nothing for so long. As they say, patience is a virtue.

Seriouslyā¦ all this is not for me, the last āvideo gamesā I mastered were Pac-Man and Space Invaders (and maybe Whack-a-Penguin), but Iām happy that gaming people seem to like it and that it seems to make a certain impact. And also that āthe mediaā seem to accept it and see it as real part of the franchise and not as an extra option to cash in (which hasnāt always been the case).

I decided against watching. Iāve waited this long. Surreal to think Iām picking up the game and controller in two days. Iām eager to see what happens in the story but Iām going to try and take my time savouring the experience.

As you should! I donāt have a console so Iāll be enjoying Hurricane Room while reading everyoneās thoughts on the game. Excited for all of you getting to play it! Iāll probably hold out as long as I can on major spoilers just in case I get the chance down the line, but Iām glad itās here and that itās looking to fulfill its potential. Fingers crossed!

Will be interesting to see how this game fares with the general public. A game thatās nearly $80 with only 20 hours of gameplay and no multiplayer is a an incredibly steep ask of people, and thatās not even taking into account the dire economic climate.

I ordered the Amazon exclusive physical copy so I wonāt get my copy until Wednesday. My 007 PS5 controller should also arrive on Wednesday.

My last experience of gaming was probably Sensible Soccer on my old Commodore Amiga back in the 1990s, however I have purchased a copy of First Light to play on my sonās PlayStation.
I genuinely have no idea what I am letting myself in for here.

Seems like you meet strong criteria to become a proper gamer. 
My case is Iām generation PC and my hands never got to master coordination to aim with a controller stick. Iāll try the pc version when I can, cause I need the gold old mouse

Whenever I read a book I make notes along the way. Iām going to do the same with First Light. I suspect any fears about this not āfeelingā like Bond due to his young age or whatever will be swept away. A new Bond adventure begins for me tomorrow.
