I think, although I’m not 100% sure, that around the time after Spectre, UA was brought back as a partnership between MGM and Annapurna, then when Amazon bought MGM they essentially folded UA into MGM, and now the news is they are reviving it as a separate “brand” again.
Exactly, Arbogast. As for the logo, I too would want it back, perhaps with an updated version of the old 1982-87 logo music by Joe Harnell.
The 80’s childhood part of me wants this, please…
The new United Artist will have time to open, put out some films, and then close again by the time EON starts working on the next Bond film.
I like the third, fourth, and fifth ones.
The third logo (the one stromberg depicted) is the one I saw on all the VHS videos when I first started watching James Bond films so it has a lot of good memories and special sentimental significance to me.
The fourth logo is the one I first saw used on a cinema screen with Timothy Dalton’s The Living Daylights, so that one is cool as well.
And the fifth logo looks good and was first used for my favorite 007’s films (Pierce Brosnan).
So reviving any of those would work for me, but I’m sure they’ll go with something original.
So, we’re getting 4 documentary shorts courtesy of Amazon.
The first one being “007 Destinations” which is now available on Prime.
The full list :
“007 Destinations”
“007 Action”
“007 Design”
“007 DB5”
Is everyone able to get 007 Destinations on Prime where they live? I’m in Canada, and cannot find it on Prime.
I could not find it in Brooklyn.
Apparently a lot of folks are having trouble accessing this . So am I .
The navigation to reach it should be to hit “Bonus Content” on clicking any Bond movie in the collection.
I could see a few Americans having some luck. Perhaps you could give it a shot @MrKiddWint
Here you go (US store)…
Ah, thought I was the only one and that it was not yet available in Germany. Going to try the “Bonus Content” route this evening…
4 Documentary Shorts and then that abysmal Reality Show.
Amazon’s really on a roll with Bond aren’t they?
That´s just all they get.
It could be a really funny prank by Eon.
Well, I guess if we were just going to get more movies like the last two, maybe the current “output” isn’t so bad.
