I hope they will surprise us and do a double release: TSWLM on cd ánd vinyl and naturally, they use the variant Italian poster for the front of the cover! 
There were actually people who thought I’d have nothing left to whine about after the release of the complete Moonraker score. How naive! 
That poster is almost identical to the international poster - but why did they show Moore from that angle with that hair? I prefer this international one:
They changed Anya, too, in the Italian one. Why?

I do wonder if maybe Quartet might do in partnership with LLLR the 1st 3 Bond Scores as re recordings, that would be awesome especially as they did such a great job with the Ipcress File , let’s see.
But I am certainly enjoying all the Bond Expansions from LLLR so far they have been amazing & excellent & I think it’s because Neil S Bulk the producer is such a Bond fan & really cares about each Bond release

But that one we already have as an LP and cd cover, for a new one I would like a different cover, like the different posters for the Thunderball and OHMSS cd’s.
Personally I like the Italian poster better, but that is a personal taste ofcourse. I once bought one on Ebay, when I thought it was one of normal size, but when it arrived it was gigantic, like the Italian posters of Eyes Only and Moonraker I bought in the eighties in London and which still hanging on my wall in my hobby room.
So I have a theory about this poster. I’ve been fortunate to be able to see the final piece a few times at various Peak galleries. If you look at the Italian poster you can tell Moore’s likeness isn’t great. My theory is this the original painting. Now look at the image you posted. There’s a box with Moore’s face on it that goes under the pyramid. My theory is this is a revision to improve the likeness and it’s stuck on over the old face. I have nothing to prove this, but in person you can see this has been added. The whole piece is mixed media and it’s stunning to study.
But if you watch closely the rest of the poster is also in a slightly different style.
It was common practice back in the day that local artists did local versions of the posters. A prime example is the Brazilian Moonraker poster…

Yes it would, although I also love the original black English gatefold with photo’s from the movie insite including the -for me when I was a teenager- magical Lotus Esprit. When I found the original English vinyl in some record shop in London when I was there on Holiday with my father in the eighties (we did this almost every year) it was such a great find!
Later I found out in The Netherlands that we got another version with a blue cover and not realy great black and white pictures on the back. Unfortunately that became the cd cover.
Never Say Never Again is my least favorite score but I didn’t hesitate ordering to continue to support La-La-Land Records stellar work.
Me too, but the only thing I am a little afraid of is that maybe they now first go for the scores we not that eager for, instead of the ones we realy, realy want. Like Dr. No and FRWL without any new music instead of TSWLM, AVTAK, YOLT, TLDL etc.

Yes, but what if those releases don’t sell that good? Does this effect other future releases as well?
The Goldfinger cd release with no new music is still not OOP after aproxy two years. What if this is also the case with NSNA and -when released- Dr. No and FRWL?
We 've got now a series of not very populair tittles one after another LTK, SP, NSNA
They probably will not sell very quick. It makes me a little nervous for my dream release of TSWLM.
I advise buying a back-up copy of DAF (presuming, of course, that you have not already done so).
I have to admit - although I was telling otherwise before ordering- untill now I only bought one copy of the new DAF. The last couple of weeks, months, almost all money I had to spare went to different versions of the new Stones album. Right now I have 14 different vinyl versions and five cd versions and I want at least three more vinyl versions if not more, so there you go…
Bond will always sell better than most other specialty releases, so rest assured: as long as LLL gets approvals from the licence holders there will be a release.

By the way I saw that my parcel (whithout any tax costs!!) will arrive tomorrow between half past six and eight o’clock in the evening, first it was monday but I have changed this, because I’m not sure they’ll just put it through the letterbox when I’m not there.
My NSNA package has arrived.
And while I always liked the score before this complete edition makes me enjoy it even more.
Did I already mention that I consider the title song (and main theme for Bond) one of the best in the series?
It has that „lean back, this will be fun, all is well in the world when Bond can triumph“-feeling, that sunny quality that has eluded many later songs.
I have to admit, the new limited edition Never Say Never Again score from Lalaland has made me enjoy the film’s music more than I ever had before. It’s still the worst of the series for me, but it has been improved.
For me, it’s similar to the GoldenEye score in that I like it better when listening to it by itself rather than when it’s paired up with what’s going on up on the screen.
I believe it disappointed many because it is very old school, not Barry-esque and - surprise! - does not feature the Bond theme(s).
Does it fit with the film? Definitely. But some people even tried to rescore the film (many years later on the interweb) with Barry scores and were convinced that would make the film better.
Silly. It is different and exactly what the film needed.
Got it! And no tax this time!
But do I wanna listen to it… Mwaaa!
So now four months waiting and then it is the 50th anniversary of…yes!
