I love DC and what he’s done with the role (CR-SF). However, I’m ready for someone knew. DC, pretty much pulls a YOLT-Connery and sleep walks through Spectre and that line about slashing his wrists will follow him wherever he goes. I hope and expect he’ll give a much better performance in Bond 25. But he’s also getting on in the years. He’ll be 52 when Bond 25 releases. Obviously, with Cruise still going strong at 56 in Mission Impossible, it’s certainly plausible that Craig could keep going with Bond, but the last time that happened we got that creepy old grandfather hitting on a girl whose mother was younger than him in AVTAK…

That was my first Bond, and it could do no wrong. Never owned a Mustang (guess what kind of car I did stick myself with?), but at least my latest car is - only coincidentally - red.

TWINE: Spending the entirety of the Bilbao sequence inside of a bank

CR: Spending the entirety of the Pakistan sequence inside of a bathroom

Ooh good one… I’d say TWINE wasted Bilbao more. We could have had more shots of Bond walking through the streets to get to the bank. The Pakistan sequence in CR is really only taking place at a cricket stadium. Still it would have been cool to see Bond trailing the baddie into the bathroom.
Who was the more ridiculous henchman? Nick Nack in TMWTGG or Elvis in QoS??
Oh god, definitely Elvis. He literally added nothing to the story, except to show that toupees can fall off (looking at you Sir Sean). Nick Nack wasn’t really ridiculous and actually was very entertaining, one of my favorites.
I still hate the Bilbao sequence. Bilbao is one of my favorite cities, it is so beautiful and has so much character, that spending the entire sequence (all 4 minutes) inside of a bank is just egregious. Spain has been utterly ignored by the Bond series for most of its duration which is crazy. But come to think of it, so has France…
More wasted location 2:
DAD: The entire South Korea sequence being spent inside a bunker and a plane (and then that bit about going down together in a hut on a hill shudder)

SF: The entire Macau sequence taking place inside of a casino (save for the quick shot of the boat, and the sequence wasn’t even filmed in China)
