Forum Game: This or That?

Bentley

early movies (DN-MR)

or

later films (FYEO-current)

That’s really hard, but I will go with the early ones

Preferred chase involving a plane:-

QOS in Bolivia

or

Spectre in Austria

?

Agreed, Dave

QOS in Bolivia (namely because of the aircraft)

Had Remington Steele not been renewed by NBC, PB in TLD?

Oh, yeah

OR

Naw, man?

I could see him in the TLD, but definitely not LTK.

Had Dalton accepted the role in 1969, TD in OHMSS (at age 22)

hells yes
OR
no way, jose
?

No way, Jose.

PB doing one more after DAD

“I can dig it”

or

“Shut yo mouth”

“I can dig it”
There was definitely one more Bond movie in him…

Is Sean Connery really Bond in The Rock

Yay

Or

Nay

Yay, I could see it.

Bond as a dog guy

or

a cat guy?

James Bond is clearly a dog person

I had this answer for a while, but i struggled to think of a question, watching Hot Fuzz (an incredible film) inspired one;

Which Bond was the best bad guy?

Sean Connery (The Avengers)

George Lazenby (Batman Beyond)

Roger Moore (Spice World)

Timothy Dalton (Hot Fuzz and Chuck)

Pierce Brosnan (The World’s End…Edgar Wright is consistent)

Daniel Craig (The Adventures of Tin Tin, The Invasion and soooooo much more)

EDIT: I do think there’s a factually right answer, as him being a good guy is constantly laced with how well he does bad guy

I want to say Moore in Spice World, since that movie is a guilty pleasure. But I’ll go with Timothy Dalton. He can be very menacing when he wants to be. Don’t forget he also played Alexei Volkoff on Chuck and Rassilon in Doctor Who.

Who deserved another film the most (that didn’t get it):
George Lazenby
OR
Timothy Dalton
OR
Pierce Brosnan
?

Well George walked away from it, Pierce had 4 goes so he’s had his fill (especially after DAD👹) so I’m going with Tim who was doing a fine job till the legal disputes hit… though on the bright side, missing a script with femmebot android assassins is on balance a good thing no matter how great he was!

Anyway, no more foreplay and on with the real issues…
Dropping the fish out of the Lotus when driving out of the water onto the beach.
Or…
The double taking pigeon on seeing the Bondola?

I’d have said Brosnan, as he clearly wanted another, the other 2 actually took the opportunity to say no.

Onto your question;
Are you asking which is more stupid?

It’s the former in terms of reason, the latter in terms of execution.

I’ll go for Moonraker’s double taking pigeon, as it bothered me without thinking about it.

One off author of Bond to write a sequel

Sebastian Faulks

Or

William Boyd

…because there was already an appetite for the rest

Jeffery Deaver.

IO Interactive’s Bond game:
First Person
OR
Third Person
?

FPS

Sean Connery doing OHMSS

or

Roger Moore doing DAF?

Roger Moore in DAF. For whatever reason, I can’t picture Connery in OHMSS. It just doesn’t seem to work for him.

Dalton in GE
OR
Lazenby in DAF
?

That is so hard, but I will go for Lazenby in DAF.

Best line from QOS

  • “Touch me and I’ll break your wrist”

or

  • “I think she has handcuffs
    " I do hope so!”

???

“Touch me and I’ll break your wrist.”

Missed opportunity for a Bond novel plot:

Bond investigates a series of seemingly unrelated incidents and learns that he must stop a vengeful businessman from setting off a number of strategically placed bombs during London’s New Year’s celebration of Y2K

or

Bond follows a madman’s trail around the world that leads to him having to prevent a nuclear bomb from going off at the Olympic Stadium during the opening ceremonies of the London Olympics in 2012

?

London Olympics, FTW

Does Bond wear a mask for COVID-19?

Yes

Or

No?

Of course he does. Bond is many things, but he isn’t an idiot.

Unused Fleming story to get adapted

The Spy Who Loved

Or

007 in New York

007 in New York

Preferred chase scene:-
