Definitely Martin Campbell. His contributions to the series were more balanced, whereas Mendes (despite my love of SF) took things a bit too far in a number of ways (especially in SP) and wound up polarizing much of the fandom. Even though I am more forgiving of SP than most, it was still a needlessly divisive film, and I put a lot of the blame for that on some of Mendes’ questionable decisions.

I’ll go hyena. A good director could make that scene properly scary…like Lewis Gilbert did.

We’ve oddly had both in the last 2 Bond films: Silva and Hinx (though Hinx did say one word), but I’ll go with evil Bond.
