Parent of a Bond Villain
Next Bond series:
Young Bond
or
A new Bond series
Parent of a Bond Villain
Next Bond series:
Young Bond
or
A new Bond series
A new Bond series.
Next Mi6-gang:
Fiennes, Harris and Whishaw
or
Completely new cast for the next new Bond
New cast
Next Bond
40s
Or
Young
40s (Henry Cavill, I’m looking at you!)
Next enemy:
Spectre continued from Craig’s run
Or
Spectre rebooted to be in the style of the 60’s original
Or
A series of individual maniacs
A series of individual maniacs. (Enough Spectre-nostalgia).
Next director:
Someone who already directed a Bond film.
Or
Some completely new talent.
Completely new talent. Bond no.7 needs a hard break from what came before following Craig’s more connected run
Out of 2 overqualified but very good for the part actors…
Next M?
Mark Gatiss
Or
Jonny Lee Miller
Gatiss.
Although both are too young in my mind. Therefore:
Next M
as young or even younger than Bond
Or
Much older, a father figure
Younger than Bond (though that’s difficult with a young Bond). Mainly because I like the idea that M is really a career job that doesn’t end in that office. And therefore an eager young professional in Whitehall customs would be the logical character to make the most of a blunt tool such as Bond (or the 00 section as a whole).
Next villain…
…feeding on an exclusive diet of powdered female mummies
Or
…resembling an evil version of Santa Claus, tattooed all over with curses and obscene images that become ‘alive’ in his twisted mind.
Seem’s more Fleming. Sexist and macabre at the same time
Bond 7
Leaning into the fantastic of late Connery/Moore/Brosnan
Or
Mid Connery/Dalton/Craig of realistic as long as you don’t ask questions
I’m nervous about responding in this thread in case I get suspended again, but the question seems harmless enough so I’ll take a chance and say late Connery/Moore/ Brosnan. DAF was my first and Moore was always worth waiting for.
Please post the next options for us
Thanks for the reminder.
More M / Q / Moneypenny / Tanner in the field
or
Less
?
…it really depends on whether NTTD keeps that going or not
But I’ll say less, for the same reason I’ve often used in regards to Bond 7, so as to be a very different beast than Craig’s run
Horowitz’ third
Or
Dynamite’s 11th (if we look only at the core series)
Which will more likely match YOUR idea of Bond?
Horowitz’s third. For whatever reason, I’ve never taken to the Bond comics.
IOI’s Bond game:
Open world
OR
Linear
?
Open world…It would be great if you could go back and forth between various missions / stages in the game to pick up items or clues you may have missed during your first play through.
Bond’s 60th Anniversary in 2022… Will they:
Hold off on the fun surprises and announcements until Oct. 5th (JB Day)
OR
No, they’ll be giving us things throughout the year…?
Neither. We likely won’t get anything outside of Horotwitz’s book. If they couldn’t take advantage of the year 2-007, I doubt we’ll get anything for the 60th. Wait what am I saying we’ll be either getting NTTD then or 2023.
Will October hold:
Yes, we’ll finally be seeing NTTD
OR
No, anti-vaxxers continue to ruin it for us
?
Yes we will see it. (Well. maybe not us here in Sydney. We could have seen it all last year but not now!)
Preferred Bond theme:-
Tomorrow Never Dies
or
Writing’s on the Wall
?
No contest, Tomorrow Never Dies
Preferred action scene for Bond 26:
An extended aerial dogfight with one of the villains in a fighter jet going Mano a Mano against Bond in a small, fast, gadget-laden plane
Or
An extended underwater dogfight with the villain’s submarine squaring off with Bond in a highly maneuverable, quick, gadget-laden mini-sub
?
(By the way, I’d like to see one of the above scenarios in Bond 26 and the other in Bond 27, doesn’t matter the order.)
Difficult because both have the tendency to have a disconnecting effect on me - I prefer Bond in close contact with a villain, without technical tools which are hard to maneuver.
But I would prefer the underwater fight, just because, you know, THUNDERBALL.
Let´s stay on this subject:
or
Assault with commandos. It’s been too long since we’ve had that.
For Bond 7:
Henry Cavill
OR
Charlie Hunnam
