News on NO TIME TO DIE (no spoilers)

Based on that synopsis, I think David Dencik is probably most likely as the scientist.

Malek on GMA said this was his last.

Of course he may be talking out of turn…

Malek stated quite definitively on GMA that this was Craig’s last film. Still time for him to change his mind though. Again.

What if Bond 25 ends shot for shot the same as OHMSS but this time its Bond who gets the bullet to the head.

It wont be that, but I’m on a bus and bored.

Ah, I was on the official stream, which doesn’t even slightly mention it.

Jamaica excites me not just for being Bond’s spiritual home, but for the visual palette it provides. Bright, lush colours with the jungle and the beach. I’m kinda thinking right now if we’re getting an extended Jamaica component, Madeleine may not be killed. By the time Felix arrives, their relationship may have deteriorated and he’s happy to leave.

I think it will be. And I’m okay with that. I felt like he needed one more after SPECTRE, and would’ve felt abrupt ending it there for me. It’s a long goodbye now.

BREAKING NEWS: Ben Whishaw has stated Q’s cats might make an appearance in Bond 25 haha.

I’m feline good about this bit of news

Of the Jamaican house, again, and bearing in mind we knew of Jamaica’s involvement, there has been nothing online about its being built for B25. Looks lovely.

I can’t quite suss out the structure though because on the one hand, it looks to be on the coast, but then there is another angle which looks to have a couple of pools and also an outside staircase to roof terrace or some such.

It’ll probably be a Blofeld not, with Q doing the stroking instead.

I like the idea of Bond not being able to let go and getting bored with retirement. I could see that playing a part in ending his relationship with Madeleine. There were hints of that (albeit as a way of simply separating them) at the end of Spectre. That plot synopsis above, if accurate, seem to have a somewhat Dr. No vibe. The Jamaica setting promotes this further…

David Dencik was an excellent antagonist in series 2 of Top of The Lake. He also popped up McMafia.

I can see him being the kidnapped scientist who turns out to be willingly working for Malek.

Glad to see the brilliant Jeffery a Wright back. Wonder whether he or Craig will get to say ā€œI’m too old for this shit.ā€

With Magnussen being a ringer for Fleming’s Felix Lieter I bet he’ll turn out to be a bad guy

Bad guy or not, Magnussen seems like a character who should be shopping for his headstone right now…

Ana de Armas is not only in Lights Out with DC, but also The Informer with Rosamund Pike, and even a musical from the original Bond 25 director, Danny Boyle.

Wonder if Ana De Armas’s character is related to Monica Bellucci’s? Daughter? Just some wild speculating on my part.

He was Spectre’s fight co-ordinator and was Stunt Co-ordinator on The Rhythm Section. His stunt sequences for other works (Films, Tv series and video games) have been quite brutal. I particularly loved what he did for Detroit: Become Human.

If Goldeneye isn’t used, then maybe they’ll be filming…up in the hills?

5 Officially Credited writers, yes, in practice - at least equal to Skyfall (Hodge, Purvis & Wade, Logan, Butterworth) and that’s just when other writer who to contributed the film were announced and rare occasion that things in the film can be assigned to them (Hodge came up with the list of agents plot, Butterworth wrote at least the chapel scene)

No. Skyfall credits 3, but Morgan and Butterworth have things in the film, but no credit. Sorry that was my bad, poor wording didnt make it clear that I meant whilst Bond 25 will have the most writers credited in the opening sequence, Skyfall (and probably others) has at least equal given the known contributions of Morgan and Butterworth

To the experts in the area… Do you think they didn’t reveal the title but already have one (if so, why?) or they’re still struggling with one? (Since Barbara was so direct to throw off Shatterhand in that autograph…)
