Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Interesting thoughts. However I was leaning towards Ana de Armas being a femme fatale type villain and Magnussen would be a filed operative working under Felix rather than a rival. Lashana Lynch as an Mi6 agent seems like a sure thing as there’s been talk of a character like that for a while.
No, it’s fine. Three main locations for filming is pretty standard for filming with any additional locations tending to be a blending of exterior shots with sets.
I like her she was great in Blade Runner, I also enjoyed her in that Keanu Reeves movie about imaginary angels ( I think !?!?) Movie bad but she stuck in my mind
Good find, I like this a lot. A Bond/Leiter buddy cop scenario sounds like heaven for most Bond fans. Members had been salivating at that prospect for years, and it seems like we’re actually going to get it. That, along with the tranquil life in Jamaica, will automatically balance the film out with a sense of humour and comradeship. Before, I assume, it all turns sour.
We could very well be. Perhaps, as a point of difference to LTK, instead of going for a shark bite, they could chainsaw Felix’s legs, or damage them with this ‘dangerous new technology.’
I also note that they still have not committed to this being Craig’s end (though I personally feel 5 is a nice number). It remains, still, just a manner for “journalists” to bump their word count up.
