News on NO TIME TO DIE (no spoilers)

That’s a very good point, and I can see that being true for a lot of people.

Nothing propinks like propinquity.

Posting this here from the 007 Store. Nice new shot of Bond walking away from the Vantage in London adjusting his cufflinks. There’s also another new image of Q.

My word.

This is the first I know that this image is actually official. I had always presumed it to be fan based and the other poster, of Bond and Swann in the bullet ridden Aston, to be the only official Main poster design.

By the way, I am seeing this last poster turn up on eBay as a German variant. I wonder if any of this poster design was printed for the UK/US markets before lock down shut everything down.

That poster is not on the German press site, so I take it that the ones you found on Ebay are bootlegs.

The only poster on there is the one you mentioned, and it’s called “Hauptplakat” which means “main poster”.

There are a couple up. Are German posters supposed to be double sided at all?

If these are bootlegged, it would have made sense to bootleg a country-of-origin poster which would be either UK or US…?

Oh, sorry, misunderstanding here. Thought you saw the calendar one on Ebay.

Double sided posters are fairly common in Germany, yes. They’re called “City Lights Poster”, as they’re especially made for light boxes.

I thought it had been released as an official still?

It’s here on 007.com:

It’s a variation of that. A still from half a second later.

Sorry, I was talking about the poster design on the calendar.

Not the still.

But even the still that you mention is different to the one in the calendar. He’s further away from the Aston.

(Oh the things we dissect…)

I’m a fan of these two designs.

I know you’re a huge Bond poster collector and would be interested in hearing your thoughts about them. I’m hoping the banner we glimpsed earlier in the year of the tuxedoed Bond taking out the PPK is officially released closer to the film’s release date - whenever that may be.

I quite like both designs. Albeit with a very low set of expectations.

The Aston image/poster has a sense of urgency about it which, while not your typical Bond pose does offer something different.

The Collective seems quite derivative of the Fallout poster but again, things are going on.

There were some contributions to the Poster Competition that I preferred for originality, and most of what Gobi offers here I prefer hands down.

Sorry, could you remind me about the PPK still?

Someone took a photo of a banner that featured Craig in three individual poses turning the pull out the PPK. I’m certain there’s at least one more image missing from the design given the way it was photographed.

Many thanks for reminding me.

The Twitter emojis are being reactivated in time for…something? last time these were launched were just before the debut trailer dropped in December and deactivated following the delay announcement in March

edit: from the sounds of it - new trailer attached to Tenet in the US from Friday.

This coming Friday?

Yeah.

Actually the film is released Stateside from tonight but MGM is apparently asking US cinemas to not play the“ trailer 2” until Friday.

I wonder if this ‘commitment to November’, or just ‘keeping in people’s consciousness’ type marketing?

Not sure where you’re getting your info from but, Thanks Ant.

Seems the UK gets Tenet first, but the US the Trailer 2.

Well that’s something to look forward to. With catastrophic hurricanes, wildfires, more civil unrest, a raging pandemic, there hasn’t been much of that lately.

Definitely. Here’s hoping the new trailer pans out.
