I’m alluding to the very slim possibility. If the story’s true, then it’s probably because they think she’s a good writer, period.
I’m just having fun with the notion, what if they’re wooing her because bond 7 is female - would make absolute sense in that context.
I’m aware BB said no female bond. But misdirection and changes of heart aren’t unknown in the industry.
But for the record, I think it’d be an appalling decision they’d live to regret after the initial media hoopla. In my uninformed opinion women won’t flock to see a violent spy movie in great numbers and men will be put off. Certainly not intending that as patronising sexism, just realism. I’m sure Eon have already done the numbers and this won’t happen - it’s just a ‘what if’.
