NO TIME TO DIE Spoilers (production pictures & videos)

Well someone needs to do the catering.

Honestly, I think the most gratuitous usage is in Casino Royale as that DB5 isn’t even the same car. It’s left-hand drive for crying out loud!

But at least they try to contextualize there - Goldeneye and Skyfall both have the reference but just hope you’ll not ask about it. TND, TWINE and Spectre I’ll let slide, as they are keeping their predecessors reference. Skyfall was a single convoluted line away from passing the judgement back to CR.

There’s also TND where he’s just driving it to his meeting and TWINE where it’s just randomly in Turkey despite Bond taking the BMW Z8 on his mission. (which, itself, was in Azerbaijan). However, I do believe the novelization has Bond having both cars shipped.

All at the expense of the British tax payer, I presume. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We have had one or two expense scandals…

The power and influence of the DB5’s appearance in Goldfinger would’ve single handedly assured its legacy forever. Having appearances in TB, GE, TND, CR, SF, SP and now NTTD push that legacy way past Drax’s space station. The powers that be have had the intention of making this ā€˜Bond’s official personal car’. I’m eager to see the Matera chase, but if the vehicle never appears again it’s had a run unlike any other. I’d rather they moved on now.

It’s definitely time for them to retire it after NTTD. If anything, I’m more excited about the return of the V8 from The Living Daylights (hands down the best Aston Martin, IMO), but after NTTD, I’d rather that they retire Aston Martin for a while and go with a different car for the next guy, like they did for Moore and Brosnan with Lotus and BMW respectively.

Totally. It’s much more thrilling to see Dalton’s Aston again for the first time since 1987 opposed to the DB5, as we’ve hardly had enough time to miss it. It’s only been five years. I’m all for a new direction. Some fans weren’t crazy about BMW, and that goes for Brosnan himself - based off his recent Goldeneye watchalong comments. But at least that allowed his incarnation a sense of individuality.

The V8 blows.

That ā€œgadgetā€ was added secretly just for Bond no doubt.

Doesn’t actually call for its own thread since it’s not really a surprise.

When the Financial Times broke this Palmer was still unaware. He seems to be one of the few people in important positions who really take the concept of lockdown seriously…

A whole boatload of BTS stills from Greg Williams ha surfaced (with thanks to Contraband on MI6Community) https://www.picturedesk.com/bild-disp/search/specialsLB.action?ts=1590426082946&data=eyJiciI6W10sInJiemlkIjoiTDIwMzkzMTMiLCJycyI6MSwicmJ6cGF0aCI6IlNwZWNpYWxzIiwibnJwIjoyMDAsInBuIjoxfQ&searchID=b56ae2fb-7c28-4796-8574-b5423bac61e4

He really should have watermarked the photos so nobody could steal them.

Can’t see anything… Has it since been emptied?

Looks like it. There were definitely pics there when I checked last night.

Nope - nothing is popping up. All I see is a white and green page with contact information in German.

If it matters there were about 50 watermarks per pic

Actually there were pics under the watermarks.

I didn’t see anything spoilery with the photos. They were mainly from the Matera and Cuba scenes.
