Wikipedia has a list for everything…
Ironically, I saw a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, Fleetwood Mask (I know, right?), at a drive-in concert the day Peter Green died. They didn’t play “Oh, Well”, but they did on the previous show back in March days before the quarantine started.
“Man of the World” is one of my favorite songs from Peter Green.
Alan Parker…
Oh, man. Another great director gone.
I always think of the song he directed, that got killed by middle aged marketing people, in a McDonalds ad.
Moral ambiguities suffocated by censors…I’m sure his skin crawled.
Angel Heart , The Commitments , Mississippi Burning … Just those three made him truly exceptional.
The Wall is one of my favorites. Bugsy Malone was the first movie I saw in the theater as a kid and developed a crush on Jodie Foster the next day. Midnight Express was the first movie I remember watching on subscription television (“On TV”) and scared the crap out of me. Stayed away from drugs ever since.
He was only 76. Probably had another couple of classic movies in him. Thanks for the great memories and films, Alan.
Just read it, what a tragic loss.
R.I.P.
Very sad news, was an incredible actor that has made an equally incredible impact to how blockbusters are seen.
Could hardly believe what I was reading this morning about Chadwick Boseman. Just goes to show that everyone is fighting a private battle whilst appearing to be going about their life normally.

My father passed away from colon cancer when I was one. If it is found early it is one of the most curable cancers.
Get checked out.
Just another thing to add to the grief that has been 2020. Chadwick Boseman was a class act through and through and a true role model for, especially but not just the Black community, but people who come from all backgrounds, races, and ethnicities. He brought many historical figures to back to life such as Jackie Robinson, Thurgood Marshall, and James Brown. And to everyone, he will always be King T’Challa. RIP Black Panther. Wakanda Forever
Was it well known he was fighting cancer? I had no idea.
I read somewhere he didn’t make it public - but some of his recent films were shot during therapy so it must have been known to a close circle.
I remember reading a couple of months ago about some disturbing weight loss he had, but figured it was just for a role. I saw 42 but am now interested in the other films where he brought historical figures to life. Didn’t realize he had done so many.

Very sad news , one of the greatest actors of her generation. To see her onstage was an immense privalge and she’ll always be Tracy
Oh no. The Queen of Thorns, she could play the game and play it well. RIP Tracy, “We Have All The Time In The World.”
This really hits me hard. I started watching The Avengers with my Dad on Saturday afternoons as a small boy. I then saw OHMSS opening weekend in the theater as a 7-year old. I knew who she was from the TV show and the biggest crush of my young life began in earnest. The flames of that infatuation have never truly died. Rest well, Tracy. You will be missed.
