A legend.
Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Kwang in Licence to Kill, passed today at 75.
If he had not have already been in Licence To Kill, I would have liked to have seen him be a Bond villain. He was really good.
R.I.P. Mr. Tagawa. ![]()
The legendary Stanley Baxter
Zed’s (REALLY) dead baby. Zed’s dead.
This is shocking and hurts:
Homicide. Stabbed to death in their home. What a terrible end. Can’t believe this.
Grim. RIP.
Truly horrible.
R.I.P.
I read this in disbelief. Such appalling circumstances make it feel almost premature to talk about Reiner’s cinematic legacy, but it’s not too early to recognise what a force for good they were.
Just gut wrenching. A very funny and intelligent man taken from the world needlessly. He should have had so many more years to enjoy life and his family.
Misery and The Bucket List it is for tonight…

I am going with A FEW GOOD MEN.
So hard to choose, but Stand by Me comes to mind first.
Those two are absolute classics, rewatch them probably every two years…seldom an actor made more impact in less screentime than Jack (maybe Hopkins in SOTL). And SBM and Misery are among the best King adaptions…what a waste of talent, R.I.P.
Goodbye, childhood hero of mine.
