Oh dear…

Oh! Nooo!
She was a beautifull person, not only her looks, but also a good human being.
She didn’t care about glamour or fame, just cared about her animals.

She (and Rachel Welch) should have been in a Bond film with Sean…guess I have to watch Shalako tonight…
After finishing The Turin Horse, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize, Tarr declared his oeuvre complete. “I don’t want to be a stupid filmmaker who is just repeating himself and doing the same shit just to bore the people.”
“I’m working for 30 years, and I’m doing the same movie. About human dignity. One thing is important: human dignity. Please don’t destroy it. Please don’t humiliate.”
A true talent. He helped make great shows better.
Thank him for basically saving The Lion King. And working on a number of other classic Disney movies.
Oh, this one hurts. I’ve been following her since her SCTV days going all the way back to the 70s.
Very sad news…

Very sad news.
The Home Alone films are some of my favorite movies from childhood and I always thought she did a fantastic job in those films, taking what, on paper, should have been a completely unsympathetic character and bringing some humanity to her as well as providing the films with an adult character who wasn’t completely unlikable. Also one of the few actors to have an iconic “scream” outside of the horror genre: “Kevin!”

Such a shock. Loved her in all the Christopher Guest mocumentaries. She had such an expressive face that she could be funny without saying a word. So very sad.
Dreadful…

You beat me to posting this by seconds. This is a sad day. I have been a huge Duvall fan for decades and decades.
A true legend. So many outstanding performances; it’s really a sad day.
