Well, if China loved SPECTRE…
Serialised story telling sells in China?
(Star Wars started low and went lower, so that isn’t it)
Maybe it’s box office numbers and people complaining online never connects?
I wonder: could a secret agent of the Western world be a hero China wants to watch? Especially now that only manly men are allowed on tv there now?
Would be the only sensible thing to do.
Would certainly partner well with their exclusive “Being James Bond” doc…which I only just realised is directed by the Writer/Director of Flashbacks of a Fool;
Masks look silly too but I still recommend them.
for any London folks, called the London Science Museum this lunchtime and they’ve confirmed with the cinema team there they won’t screen the film - seemingly a lot to do with private hires outside of museum hours. The person I spoke to there was also similarly keen about NTTD, Dune and potentially Eternals being shown 1.43 there and has advised people reach out to show demand…but key issue is really COVID, they put (to date) plans for any feature film screenings on ice.
So between that and seemingly no 70mm prints being struck - any UK fans wanting to see NTTD in its full IMAX glory, Vue Manchester Printworks is your best option.
Is No Time To Die also the German title?
this is in Switzerland, looks like Zurich to be specific! Was just there a few days ago
Gotcha,my bad!
It`s “Keine Zeit zum Sterben” which is a literal translation.
FYI for anyone in Aus/NZ, the Being James Bond doc is available! Goes live midnight local time in any respective territories
I see Venom 2 has been brought forward to October 1st in the States. I wonder if that will have any effect on NTTD’s box office performance?
Naomie Harris is about to have a very busy month…
Ok, that’s like the Spanish title, “Sin Tiempo Para Morir,” also a literal translation.
Definitely a title that travels better than Octopussy.
Now that is kind of an aggressive move by Sony.
And it is kind of funny that they moved the film back initially due to concerns about Delta. Now they move into Bond‘s timeslot after the Marvel win of the Labor Day box office.
Bad form.
So in the US…
1 October - VENOM
8 October - NTTD
15 October - HALLOWEEN KILLS
22 October - DUNE
29 October - LAST NIGHT IN SOHO
Not much breathing room for these movies.
THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK also out on the 1st.
