Showtimes are going up on Fandango in the US ahead of the ticket launch next Friday and… shockingly, looks like some select venues are getting 3D screenings of the film.
So far the only countries which were supposed to be getting it were parts of Asia and Eastern Europe. In Western Europe, so far Netherlands and Germany have confirmed 3D availability…
(The 3D conversion was announced back before the first delay btw)

A bit of a note for London folks aside from all the IMAX stuff which I’ve explained before - we need to be thankful for midnight screenings because it’s extremely likely Thursday evening opening night shows at the 3 flagship London venues - Odeon Leicester Square, Cineworld Leicester Square and the BFI IMAX, are almost definitely going to be booked out for corporate private hires…
An interesting venue to look into for wanting a premium format on that Thursday night, or you’re really turned off by the Odeon Leicester Square’s prices but still want Dolby Cinema - the Odeon West End has reopened this weekend, tickets are £19 for an evening show.
Sorry, triple post…but likely worth it - TICKETS NOW ON SALE including midnight AND Thursday opening night shows at OLS and Cineworld Leicester Square across Odeon and Cineworld.

Got my tickets booked at my local Curzon on 30th 7pm. I thought about getting IMAX tickets or going to the local Vue but the latter especially attracts the local pond-scum so I decided against it.
I will no doubt be seeing it multiple times anyway!
Booked in for 1st October. Midday. Superscreen at Cineworld. Can’t wait!

Can I ask of anyone in the UK, has anyone seen or heard anything of the Local Gala Premieres that tend to take place around the country?
They have in the past been held just after the World Premiere, but before release date.

Well, the premiere is Tuesday and 0.01 on Thursday morning is the earliest cinema ticket I can book at Odeon for normal screenings, so I don’t think they’d have the time this year (unless it’s a VERY busy Wednesday)
I’ve been keeping an eye out for these too, but the only one I could find was this one, which is a bit too pricey for me.
If anyone hears of one in Scotland, please let me know!
Aside from the one mentioned in that reply above, everything I’ve seen is opening day, 30th.

Antovolk, by what you say, are these just ‘normal opening day’ for the public? Not a charity event of any sort? If they are charity events, could you list them please.
