I’m in Fiji and today I was on a jet boat as it absolutely roared down the Sigatoka River as if it was being chased by a fleet of heavily armed foes. Big LALD and MR vibes.

It´s an Archer watch strap with quick release so you don´t need a jeweller…
I didn’t take any, but I’m going on another jet boat in Queenstown in two days. By all reports this one will be even faster.

Did the Shotover Jet in Queenstown this morning. Loved it, and this was faster while going close to the canyon walls. This is how Bond must feel - no increase in heart rate, but a sense of calm, being at peace and in the zone. Almost like you don’t care if you die out there. Everybody else was gripping the handrails except me, and I have to admit I looked pretty cool with my sunglasses on.

Finally got to meet a 007 in December last year, Michael jayston,who played James bond in BBC radio 4’s 1990 adaption of YOLT

Finally got one of my odeon spectre poster I got from the cinema in 2015 framed,my 007 door mat is just about in shot too.
Just have to wait until I’ve recovered from my latest foot operation last week to put them all up on the walls

The hospital had to perform emergency surgery on my right foot 12 days ago and remove the last bits of remaining metal,that has slowly been removed during various operations over the last 2 and a half years, that has been Causing me so many problems.
I was on the waiting list for the operation,but suddenly my foot suffered a major flare up with bad swelling, causing fever like symptoms and infection that literally came on overnight! An X ray revealed that one of the screws in my foot had snapped in two and had actually worked it’s way out of the bone and was now under the skin.
So I am now officially no longer SILVER TOE!

They are mostly souvenirs from my travels, there is a small pewter model of the euromast from Rotterdam amongst them and a pair off delft clogs, an Irish leprechaun or two, a statue of liberty and an Effiel tower and so on…
The union jack flag dogs are a nod to M’s royal Dalton union jack bull dog
