It’s going to be interesting to see how they announce this. Probably a heads up a day or so out, at some point before year’s end, then it all happens. At what location I don’t know. Based on how much the media love to report on rumoured candidates, the actual announcement should be gigantic world news. Bring it on. It’s going to be even better when filming starts.

OK, would it be safe to say that 1 contender, Jonah Hauer King is out of running since he was announced as joining the Code Of Silence series last week?
My thinking,
Stuart Campbell, Thomas Doherty, Tom Blyth, Tom Sharp and Guy Remmars are still in the running?

I still think Bond is going to be in that age bracket, with Barton at 31 possibly as the alternative for going a bit younger. If true, it’s either not yet been decided or won’t make a big difference in the finished product.

I think Lowden is the only one I am familiar with and I do like him. I have to say I am glad I am not the one having to make this decision as there is so much pressure. I am also feelig very old given how unfamilar I am with so many people these days. I won’t make judgements on other actors based on look or past roles as actors can sometimes surprise us and those casting people can see things others may overlook.

I wouldn’t be disappointed with Lowden. He does seem to have the spark a Bond needs. How the character can be amused and use charming humour, then kill someone moments later. I’m also okay with Turner being in there. Both could do the job.
