He has more insight than we do. I don’t think we should ignore, or refuse to ask, the closest person we can actually ask in favour of angry speculation. We can do more with information than we can with random judgment.

With Casino Royale’s 70th anniversary next year, I wonder if IFP is doing anything similar that EON is for Dr. No’s 60th anniversary. If there would be a short story collection, I would like to see other characters get a story about themselves, like Dynamite Comics’ Case Files collection.

A bit disappointing, but I’m hoping they’ll be hardbacks with first edition covers. It’ll be hard for them to top Folio Society with original art and I’d like to have some Choppings on my shelf.

Self publishing seems to be it, though there’s a chance they’ll announce something later.

At least they did announce something. I really thought Kim Sherwood’s second 00 book title would be it. Especially since it was her birthday yesterday. Or another spinoff series (Blofeld, Felix Leiter, etc). I hope that IFP takes a note from Sherlock Holmes and tries other characters from Bond. Dynamite Comics did pretty good with trying it. Ah well, at least there are other James Bond stories that we can enjoy. Happy James Bond day everyone!
