Its ok, but it looks like a generic modern sportscar with a front end that doesn’t quite fit - im not really a car guy but bentley doesnt really have the pull aston martin has and ive never heard bentley mentioned by any of my friends who are - obviously the saab was the least cool tho perhaps one of the more attainable 007 cars for us mere mortals haha
Personal preference I suppose. I agree that, yes, the Saab 9000 would be easier to obtain, though in that regard, I’d choose either the BMW Z3 or BMW Z8. I would never be caught dead driving this heap.
I’ll go with Viv. She tends to be a forgotten Fleming-Bond girl as Gala always gets the attention as the missing one. Gala has nearly made it to the screen twice: Dr. Goodhead was originally called Gala Brand and Miranda Frost was Gala Brand in an early draft. Loelia Ponsonby is another one that hasn’t made it to screen…May too.

Forever and A Day. It’s a better book on the whole, but the thing that really pushes it is Sixteen. Such a fantastic character.

Agreed on that. Sixtine is a top tier Bond girl, but I shun to wonder how Fleming would have written her. She is very much a product of the #metoo movement (not that I have a problem with that). I will say, though, that Trigger Mortis has a much better villain. Jason Sin (or Jae-seoung Sin) has a much better backstory and motivations. His card gimmick is particularly menacing especially when he loses it after Bond outsmarts him. The FaaD villains, Wolfe and Scipio are among the weakest in Fleming’s timeline, the Whittaker and Koskov of the novels.

Oh she is very much a product of the era she was written in. I mostly agree in regards to the villains, Sin is a more intriguing creation, but I liked Wolfe, thought he was suitable for Bond’s “first” villain.
