News on NO TIME TO DIE (no spoilers)

I’m okay with that. I’m prepared to be spoiler free from now on, and go into the last ever Craig film with a treasure trove of surprises in store. I’ll see how I go with that. In the meantime I absolutely do want to see the final poster, and pray it is semi-decent.

The ad space price spiked because of wannabe presidents wanted to put their own puff pieces in it.

You may have treasure trove surprises for the film itself. But honestly, hoping for even mediocrity in the poster design department will likely leave you short.

This Unless the concurrent poster design competition stirs up some inspiration where it otherwise lacks in the paid for departments.

So instead of an ad for 1 Bond villain, it’ll be a rogues gallery.

Probably a smart move for Eon to avoid it - whatever dastardly words or deeds come from Safin in a new trailer, he’ll seem tame by comparison.

Apologies for double post but another thing to note for anyone who bought the VIP ticket gift box: https://007store.com/products/notimetodie-vip-tickets?_pos=1&_sid=50170e86e&_ss=r

Seems like the ticket vouchers will only be redeemable at Vue cinemas. Which isn’t a problem necessarily, given the best place to see the film in the UK will be the Manchester Printworks IMAX…which is a Vue.

UPDATE: Swatch is coming on board NTTD (not surprising as a sister brand to Omega). Q will be wearing one (not pictured) in the film…

Swatch has announced seven new watches ahead of the release of new James Bond movie No Time To Die.

Six of the new timepieces draw their design inspiration from classic James Bond movie posters. These include Dr No, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, Moonraker, Licence to Kill, The World is Not Enough, and Casino Royale.

Although none of the watches actually feature the name of each movie, they do offer enough clues about their origins.

For example, a space shuttle arcs its way across the dial of the Moonraker watch, while the Casino Royale model borrows its playing card-inspired design from the film’s opening credits.

Each watch also features a 007 logo on the strap retainer, and, in the case of the On Her Majesty’s Secret Service model, on the date complication.

The seventh new James Bond-inspired Swatch is yet to be unveiled. It has been designed alongside Suttirat Anne Larlarb, costume designer for No Time To Die, and will only to be offered in limited numbers.

The watch features in the upcoming film and is worn by Q, played by Ben Whishaw.

The new Swatches will be available from late February, and No Time To Die hits cinemas in the UK on 2 April, followed by the US release on 10 April.

With prices for even the lowest tier event starting at $4007 per person and then, depending on the next two tiers offerings, prices then got to $10,000 and ‘something more’ than $100,000 for the top notch experience, I am not sure how many takers for this premiere will come from this forum…??

Guess that’s the question, how much the general release tickets will be for that premiere…remember all of these ones PGF are offering on their site include the after party.

Ironically, many of the more exclusive events see their tickets bought in bulk by banks and big business companies who then reward their prime customers - and sometimes staff - with such.

Given the asking price for a tv spot the Bond team may very well say F that and spend that money elsewhere. The exposure would be awesome but they really don’t need it.

The Doctor No and Casino Royale designs are the best, in my opinion.

I’m in need of a new watch, too…

Maybe the first one is the NTTD watch…

How do they not have a Live and Let Die watch complete with rotary saw for cutting through rope? Or the laser watch from The Living Daylights? Or the ticker tape watch from The Spy Who Loved Me?

Bang on time.

Just a heads up to everyone - the 007 Store has a bunch of new NTTD themed merchandise available now - mugs, water bottles and the like. While browsing I purchased a DB5 keyring and OHMSS mug. To my annoyance most of the medium and large shirts are sold out (I have my eyes on Moonraker and San Monique designs), but hopefully they’ll be restocked in the near future.

Can’t wait to book my tickets. I have gold class planned (food and alcohol service throughout, reclining seats). I’m seeing it opening night after work, then again on the weekend with family and friends.
